Connect2Mums
is Heading to New Zealand
Owners of the successful
Australian online business networking site Connect2Mums,
Peace Mitchell and Katy Garner, are bringing their community
to New Zealand.
Already well established in
Australia and with some NZ members, Connect2Mums is looking
to expand in New Zealand by inspiring Kiwi business mums to
succeed in their entrepreneurial goals.
Queensland
sisters Peace and Katy have been busy after the network’s
annual conference in Brisbane in July organising the first
Melbourne event on October 20 and growing the online
community.
They will be in Auckland for the Parent
and Child Show between October 29 and 31, which provides a
perfect opportunity to meet NZ business mums – and those
who aspire to be.
Peace and Katy will be helping
out Aquabub owner Helen Macmillan on her show stand and
speaking about Connect2Mums to expo attendees.
"We
already have some NZ members who have been spreading the
word about Connect2Mums, but we thought it was time to visit
and extend the network even further," Peace
explained.
"Connect2Mums is a friendly and
supportive network designed for women who run a business
around children. Our members share their experiences freely
and often do business together," she said.
Besides
the online networking opportunities, Connect2Mums has
separate online interest groups for discussions on health,
blogging, business and other topics. The site provides
members with opportunities to interact and socialise with
other mums across Australia and New Zealand, such as Friday
night live chats, newsletters, product reviews, events,
competitions and articles.
Peace and Katy will be
at the Auckland Parent and Child Show from October 29-31.
Come and visit the stand, or drop in online to see the
network yourself.
Connect2Mums provides a safe and
supportive environment for women with online businesses to
get together and share information, network and gain
support.
