Colorful Vibrant Dancesport

“The members of Fiji Club of New Zealand (FCNZ), Young Executive Club (YEC), and the All Ethnic Congress (AEC) attended the North Shore Intermediate Schools’ Dancesport Competition 2010 held at the North Shore Events Center, Glenfield, Auckland on Tuesday, October 19”, said Alton Shameem JP the Community Leader, Founder and President of all the aforementioned organizations at Takapuna, North shore City, Auckland the City of Dancing.

“The day was sunny with a slight touch of coolness due to the south- westly breeze.

Multi-cultural students from various North Shore schools participated in the colorful, vibrant, energetic dancesport competition accompanied by their parents and supporters “said Alton Shameem JP the New Zealander-Fijian Civic Leader, Founder, Chairman and President of Fiji Club of New Zealand (FCNZ), Young Executive Club (YEC) and the All Ethnic Congress (AEC)

“The female contestants wore rich, daring and vibrant dresses in colors of orange, yellow, red, black, white, pink and purple.

The male contestants were mainly attired in white shirts, black trousers, vests and one had a red tie on.

The multi-ethnic students eagerly, cheerfully and enthusiastically danced to the songs and music of foxtrot, jive, salsa and samba” said Alton Shameem JP the Multicultural Leader, Founder, Chairman and President of Fiji Club of New Zealand (FCNZ), Young Executive Club (YEC), and All Ethnic Congress (AEC)

Said one of our member contestants that “she had the time of her life at the dancesport competition” and she successful danced her way to semi- finals.

“We all had an awesome, happy and relaxing time at the well organized and managed dancesport competition by the teachers and parents, and our congratulations to the winners and all contestants who participated and being kia kaha” said Alton Shameem JP the Community Leader, Founder, Chairman and President of Fiji Club of New Zealand (FCNZ), Young Executive Club (YEC), and All Ethnic Congress (AEC)
