Dissolving Design Disciplines with John Walters

John Walters, editor of Eye | the international review of graphic design, is coming to town. Walters joins a selection of New Zealand designers, at Massey’s BLOW festival, to explore collaboration and the dissolving of design disciplines. Blast brings together designers working across the fields of web, animation, illustration, spatial, conceptual, installation and graphic design, and some whose work crosses into fine arts, to discuss their work and collaborative processes.

Guests give a sampling of their cross-disciplinary work and processes – 20 slides in 20 seconds – followed by an interactive discussion led by chair John Walters / Admission free

/ Blast Talks / Friday 12 November / 9am-5pm
Speakers share approaches to cross-disciplinary practice through a series of short presentations and audience interaction, culminating in a panel discussion chaired by John Walters / Admission $80 / student concession $20 / includes Blast Breakfast on Saturday
