Carthaginian Album Release and Live Show This Saturday November 13th at Whammy with Cobra Khan and Leeches

After having completed their first full tour of New Zealand Carthaginian return home to Auckland to continue promoting their debut album Crosses, released October 25th 2010 through And What and distributed by Rhythm Method.
Crosses was self-produced by the band, engineered and mixed by Jonathan Dakers, then mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music in New York. Credits to West West Side’s name include Converge, Trans-Am, Mastodon as well as Locust, LCD Soundsystem, and Run DMC. Influences for Carthaginian (pronounced Car-tha-jin-nee-an) include, At The Drive In, Bear Vs Shark, Refused, Converge, and The Mint Chicks.

This Saturday November 13th Carthaginian are playing Whammy Bar with Cobra Khan who incidentally have a new line up that includes Hadley Donald from The Bleeders and Evan Short ex-Concord Dawn, they have new songs, it will be good times. Also on the bill are The Leeches including Angelo Munro (Deadboy Records) and Ian King from The Bleeders.
