Fleur Dilly is Queen of the Whole Universe’s Number 1 Filly!
Queen of the Whole Universe 2010 Announced

On Saturday 6th November the ASB theatre was saturated in colour, feathers, headdresses and in- your-face fabulousness. 34 ‘girls’ representing 30 countries and 4 planets fastened on their best pageant smiles and stepped onto the stage in front of a full house of enthusiastic supporters.

Buffy and Bimbo hosted the evening with their usual wit and flair and introduced a new popular addition to the evening’s lineup, the truly brilliant Queen of the Whole Universe Maternity Wear! In Act 1 the competition was fierce and furious with participants battling it out, the contestants that made it through to Act 2 were Miss Jamaica - Marie Jo'Anna (Clint Wooly), Miss Russia – Tsarina Cheyshosa Titzalot (Vaughan Meneses), Miss Argentina – Miss Cecelia Maria Consuela Boi ( Michael Sanders), Miss Germany – Helga Von Stinkenfart (Andrae Fassler) and Miss France - Fleur Dilly (Alan Parata).

After the Act 2 girls belted out some scorching hot numbers the judges had the hard job of deliberating. Before TVNZ’s Alison Mau announced the winner the audience was treated to a performance from the cast of The Rocky Horror Picture Show as well as from the hugely entertaining all-male dance group “Nancy Boys”. Alison Mau then announced that it had been a unanimous decision by all the judges to crown Miss France - Fleur Dilly (Alan Parata) with the coveted crown.

Since the shows inception in 2004 QWU© has raised over $145,000 for HIV/AIDS causes in New Zealand – with the proceeds from the 2010 show this figure will increase even further.
