Baby Video Wins Spot On TV
New Zealand nappy brand Treasures has announced the winner of its Treasures Quality Time baby video competition.
Lainey from Koponga, Taranaki, aged 15
½ months, will be the new star of a Treasures television
commercial airing nationwide on Sunday 21st
November.
More than 340 baby videos were uploaded by
doting parents and family members on
www.treasuresqualitytime.co.nz, a virtual ‘Baby Tube’
gallery of treasured videos of Kiwi babies’ most
spontaneous and funny moments.
Treasures launched the site
in October to celebrate the launch of its new nappies range
and to encourage parents to spend quality time with their
babies – especially during the crucial early years while
baby is in nappies.
Treasures Marketing Manager, Heather
Greaves says there are much worse jobs than watching videos
of giggling babies.
“We’ve loved running this competition. Checking out the new video uploads is definitely a highlight of the day! Giggles from a baby are infectious and we enjoyed laughing our way through the whole judging process. The babies are so adorable and it was difficult to choose just one winner to star in our next TV ad.
“Lainey fitted all of the criteria for a Treasures’ baby – happy, funny and full of laughter.”
The most popular video on the Treasures Quality Time website as judged by public votes was awarded to Jacob Goddard from Wellington. Jacob wins a prize pack including a year’s supply of Treasures nappies and a Finepix F80EXR Fujifilm camera for garnering an amazing 2992 votes. A total of 25,707 public votes were made during the competition period.
“We wanted to celebrate the launch of our new range with a whole lot of fun, and we’re glad to have achieved that!” says Greaves.
The new Treasures range includes one of the most absorbent, high quality nappies in the market. It has a multi-layer protection system that quickly draws wetness away to keep baby’s skin dry. Its soft stretch sides ensure an ultra fit and freedom of movement.
Jumbo pack sizing is included in the new range with the packaging converting into reusable play boxes – a car, a pull-along wagon and a house – giving even more value for money and quality time. Plus, new Treasures Nappy Pants are as absorbent as a nappy but quick and easy to pull up and take off wriggly toddlers.
