3 guys, 3 mos, 1 event, 1 cause and $6000 in prizes
With less than one week to go Te Rangi Ropata, Mark Hilditch and Aaron McConchie have kicked their volunteer efforts into high gear to bring Auckland the biggest and best scavenger hunt they have ever seen.
The 3rd Great Auckland Mo-Hunt is kicking off from the Northern Steamship Company this Saturday (20th Movember) at 12pm sharp. The three mo bros have got a myriad of challenges, clues and tasks for the “mo-hunters” to compete for a share of over $6000 in prizes.
“We believe this is the biggest and best scavenger hunt to hit Auckland” Says Mr McConchie “Not only have we got a ton of prizes but we are using multiple technologies to run the event. We are using our blogging site www.mohunt.co.nz, twitter to send additional clues to even more prizes (www.twitter.com/mohuntnz) and pxt and digital cameras to record a lot of the action. We even have our Mo-Hunt agents placed around the city for a little moustache powered espionage.”
Auckland residents have been spotting the Mo-Hunt posters popping up around the city and the organizers are urging potential Mo-Hunters to take note of their locations as they may become very useful on the day.
When asked why they are doing all this work for no personal gain, the response was unanimous, “ Because we have to! Men’s health is important, and often neglected, so why not do something fun to help out”.
