Random Acts of Christmas
Random Acts of Christmas
Keep your eyes peeled this
Christmas for giant moas, hip hop clowns, musical cowboys
and time machines as our programme of theatre, contemporary
dance and music hits the streets for 6 days! Help build our
super city’s flag, indulge in a little lunch time theatre
with a colourful Indian fable, or be a guest at your very
own mafia wedding. Pause for a moment from your Christmas
shopping and take a fresh look at your BIG Little City
In its second year, Random Acts of Christmas is a uniquely Auckland street theatre programme brought to you by Auckland’s BIG little city as part of their wider Christmas festival in the city. Random Acts features an eclectic line up of characters and interactive performances for your Christmas Chaos pleasure! Featuring artists from NZ and the UK performing throughout the streets and hotspots of downtown Auckland, Christmas 2010 will be unlike any other Christmas past!
Running from 18 to 23 December, this schedule of free entertainment has a combination of set shows (Beyond the Land of Hattamala) and off the cuff street surprises! Suitable for both young and old, there is something for everyone this Christmas in downtown Auckland.
