Battle of WITs

It's time to don your team's colours, learn the team chants and get to the game! No, we're not talking about yet another rugby season where your enjoyment is at the whim of some dude with a whistle. Its time for something different: team based improvisation where YOU decide the winner!

With the excitement building around Wellington's 2011 Fringe Festival, The Wellington Improvisation Troupe (WIT) can be relied on once again to unleash a fun, quality and audience involved show - where your investment and excitement builds week to week. Watch teams of talented improvisers risk life and limb to conjure up scenes on the spot, aiming to outwit and outlast their competitors. The audience decides who perishes and who prevails, so come along and support your team, wear their colours, and make them champions!

"At WIT our improv is normally about working together with your fellow improvisers", says Geoff Simmons, the show's creative director, "but this is like the All Blacks squaring off in the Super 15: it's mate against mate. There is a lot of pride at stake, and bound to be a few ego's shattered"

Sundays 20th, 27th February and 6th, 13th March
The Fringe Bar; Wellington's home for comedy
7pm
Doorsales $12 and $10 concessions.
