Style Guru Susan Yule coming to Queenstown
Funkee, the new online accessories store launched at the end of last year is organising a Style Workshop on 24 February in Queenstown.
Style guru Susan Yule will be presenting the workshop to teach women how to accessorise their outfit, what colours suit their skin type and how to dress for their body shape.
“It’s about making women feel more confident and better about themselves”, says Susan Yule, who has over 30 years’ experience working with people in this field.
Susan has worked in the advertising and fashion industry in New Zealand in the following areas: TV work (commercials), newspaper photography, catalogue work, trade shows, catwalk modelling and in house designer modelling shows.
She is also a colour and style analyst for group and individual appraisals. Susan teaches classes in modelling, deportment and etiquette, and has run workshops such as this one and Dressing for Success.
“The idea for the workshop came as a result of many of our customers saying that they didn’t know how to accessorise their outfit”, says Marijke Dunselman, one of the owners of Funkee. “Accessories are a great way to enhance your outfit. I get many of positive comments about the bags, scarves and bags we sell, but sometimes people need to learn how to use them to look their best, and it’s so easy once you know the basics. We are lucky to have Susan Yule coming down from Christchurch for the workshop. It’s going to be a fantastic night!”
The workshop is a first for Queenstown. Tickets for the event can be bought online at www.funkee.co.nz
