First Australian Royal Wedding markets:

Late 2012 A Boy For William & Kate!

Leading bookmaker Centrebet has released the Royal Wedding betting markets as the countdown continues to the big day at Westminster Abbey on April 29!

And according to Centrebet’s Neil Evans, Prince William and Kate Middleton will have their first child – probably a boy - in the second half of next year. They will leave the Abbey in a spectacular open top carriage, with the Queen wearing an immaculate yellow or blue hat!

“Following on from our initial Royal markets on when and where the wedding would be held, now punters can have their say on that first baby, and in more novelty markets, like the famous colour of the Queen’s hat,” Evans said. Centrebet has yellow a slight $3.00 favourite ahead of light blue/blue ($3.10), with revolting green the $12.00 outsider!

“This will be one of the highest rating events of the year, and these sorts of event markets are becoming more and more popular every year!” he added.

“We are tipping Kate won’t completely rush into starting a family, but nearing 30 she won’t wait a lengthy time either. And the royal gene pool tells us a boy ($1.85) is the slightest of favourites over a girl ($1.90), but punters who like much bigger odds can get $15.00 on the royal couple producing twins! Personally, I don’t think Willy’s got twins in him, but Kate’s a hot-ticket item, and long-shots do win!”
