The Beehive in Cuba Street
The Beehive in Cuba Street
Acclaimed French muralist and artist Gabriel Heimler and his partner and collaborator Anna Proc are known for their mural 'The Mover' on the Museum Hotel, which is a finalist in the Civic Trust Public Art Awards.
The couple after living in Wellington for 12
months have produced their first New Zealand exhibition 'The
Beehive in Cuba Street'. The show is a whimsical and
humorous look at Wellington and an attempt to draw together
some of the different threads that make up the city.

Heimler says, 'After changing the face of the Museum hotel we wanted to change the place of the Beehive!'
The exhibition runs from 30 April to 22 May at the Kiwi Art House Gallery 288 Cuba St. Ph 385 3083
The opening is Friday 29 May from 6pm
