Winners of
the Royal Easter Show Hershey’s Classic Star Talent Quest
2011 announced
It is with great pleasure that the Royal Easter Show management announce the winners of the $15,000 Hershey’s Classic Star Talent Quest.
The winners were judged on the final day of the Royal Easter Show, Monday 25 April. They were:
First place, winning $10,000:
Prestige
Second place, winning $3,000: B4
Third place,
winning $2,000: Voou Katuki
Winners were presented with their cheques at the end of the talent quest.
Judges, Mandy Pickering, Chaz Cummings, Steve James and Mike Plant from Classic Hits Radio, were overwhelmed with the incredible talent who entered the Hershey’s Classic Star Talent Quest.
ASB Showgrounds’ Marketing, Sales & Entertainment Manager, John Robertson said, “It wasn’t until the winners were announced that we learned that winning group Prestige needed to pay $10,000 to Virgin Australia to secure their tickets to San Diego to represent New Zealand at the Bodyrock International Hip Hop competition! They had until Wednesday 27 April to pay for their seats, which they were able to do.”
Some things are just meant to be.
“We are confident that given the interest was huge, that the Hershey’s Classic Star Talent Quest will be a regular event at the Royal Easter Show. Thank you everyone who entered and supported this great experience,” says John.
