NZ Music Month 2011: All Wrapped Up
Another excellent NZ Music Month has come to
a close. Please find attached a round-up of events and
highlights from the month.
Ultimately, May is all about quality music from New Zealand. We often hear ‘Every month is NZ music month’ – and these words are music to the ears of those whose vision it was 11 years ago to get more local music onto our airwaves and charts. NZ music is not confined to May, as illustrated by the thousands of incredible singles, albums, videos and gigs played all throughout the year, but we’d like to think that by providing a magnifying glass once a year we can all focus on some of the incredible music that is made in New Zealand each and every month and take the time to celebrate how far we’ve come together.
A very special thank you to our sponsors Grabaseat, Grolsch, Jagermeister and Snapstar.co.nz.
We’ll see you in 2012.
