We’re All In This Together

As the dust settles in Christchurch, the giving continues with two fundraising musical concerts, one at the Hawkins Centre in Papakura on Sunday 12 June at 2.00 p.m. and the other at the Harlequin Musical Theatre in Howick on Friday 17 June at 8.00 p.m.

Musically directed by Paul G Radden and directed by Susanne Dell, the amateur theatre community comprising of Papakura Theatre Company, Harlequin Musical Theatre and Pukekohe Light Opera Club have joined forces with the Auckland Wind Orchestra, Rosehill College Concert Band, Pukekohe High School Jazz Band and SingUp, the Bucklands Beach Intermediate School Choir to do what they do best – entertain.

Aptly named “We’re All in this Together” the two concerts will consist of songs from Les Miserables, Me and My Girl, The Witches of Eastwick and other musicals as well as the orchestras playing a number of familiar pieces.

Both concert venues have donated their resources and time for the concert, with all proceeds going to Christchurch. The 100 cast members and 80 musicians will guarantee an entertaining treat for young and old.

Prices are $25.00 adult, concession $15.00, family ticket (comprising 2 adults and 2 children) $60.00
