Sami Sisters Album Release Tour
STOP THE PRESS!
HOLD THE ROLL!
DO NOT GO AND PUT THE JUG ON!
THE WAIT IS FINALLY OVER!!
Yes after nearly two
years in the making, recorded in bedrooms and
lounges,
between studios and day jobs, The Sami Sisters
debut
album Happy Heartbreak! is finally here!
Happy Heartbreak! is a spunk of a record which takes you on a journey filled with rousing pop songs on a topic we all love to ruminate on. Warm, uplifting and moving this debut effort sees Madeleine, Anji and Priya trade their acoustic stylings for a full band sound as synths, electric guitars, drums and those trademark harmonies combine deliciously throughout 11 tracks creating a little pop gem that promises to be a real treat for your earholes. Promise.
Produced by the inimitable Ed Cake (Bressa Creeting Cake, Pie Warmer), The Sami Sisters, and Jeremy Toy (She’s So Rad, Opensouls), mixed by grammy award winning producer and engineer Tchad Blake (Sheryl Crow, The Black Keys), guest musicians on the album read like a wish list of top NZ musical talent. They include Ross Burge (Dave Dobbyn, Tim Finn),Ryan McPhun (The RubySuns), Matthews (Homebrew, Opensouls), Isaac Aesili and many more.
In support of the album the girls are heading out on a five date Happy Heartbreak!release tour to a town near you. Joining them on the road will be drummer extraordinaire Alistair Deverick and multi talented muso Jeremy Toy.
OMG!! It will be an awesome show. Come and check out these hot babes.
