The Red Suns - New Video Single Out Now!
10 October 2011
The Red Suns
release their
first music video single Breakdown!
Available NOW on iTunes is new video single Breakdown by the Red Suns!!!
Mixed by Olly Harmer at The Lab, Breakdown is a rock n roll rant about having a bad day with therapeutic and angry to the point of funny 'get it off your chest' lyrics.
The band came up with the idea of using a Monty Python meets South Park feel, so with a budget of just a few hundred dollars, some help from their friend Craig Howard at Shooter Films and numerous hours taking photos, drawing animation and cutting together thousands of frames, the video was shot using stop motion photography and animation.
"Every photo was taken separately, every object, prop and background image had to be created and pieced together. Each individual frame took a long time to make and there were between four and eight frames per second. I was working into the early hours every night for weeks!" said singer/guitarist Danny McCrum
