Nunvember Tickets On Sale and More Acts Announced

Tickets are now on sale now for the Flying Nun Record’s 30th Anniversary shows in November, with even more acts added to the already impressive line-up of past and present acts from the label.

Shayne P. Carter (Straitjacket Fits, Dimmer) will be taking his Last Train To Brockville shows down south to Christchurch and Dunedin with Ghost Club, while The Subliminals reform for a series of shows with The Clean (ArchHill/Merge Records) across New Zealand.

Also joining the celebrations are Fetus Productions and X Features for a special one off show, as well as The Verlaines, Solid Gold Hell and The Puddle.

In turn, Flying Nun Records are pleased to announce their latest signing Badd Energy – who will play the New Nun Night to launch the month in Auckland and Wellington. The Auckland based quartet (Sam Moore, Coco Solid, Trixie Darko and J.Suave) will play alongside Popstrangers, Grayson Gilmour, T54 and Surf Friends. More details about the new signing and brand new single / video will be announced tomorrow.

Furthermore, a series of Flying Nun Tribute nights presented by A Low Hum have been added to the month of celebrations. With local acts playing versions of their favourite Flying Nun released songs and their own original material. These shows in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, feature the likes of The Phoenix Foundation, She’s So Rad, Delaney Davidson, Golden Axe, Idiot Prayer, O’Lovely, The Eversons and many more.
