Badd Energy Announce New Album + Single

Badd Energy Announce New Album + Single

Watch the ‘THIRD EYE’ video at http://youtu.be/aHUor0GHONw

'Third Eye' is the latest single from Auckland-based band Badd Energy.

A psychedelic mix of guitars, drum machines and genres, Sam Moore, Coco Solid, Trixie Darko and J.Suave make up this trippy quartet that kick out motley jams blending stoner-swamp riffs with laid back 808 raps.

The exciting THIRD EYE video was directed by visual artist Jason Howden and produced by Sarah Wensley. And is suitably apt, taking you away to a world of pyramids, fantasy and pyschedelic adventure.

Formed in 2009, Badd Energy released their energetic debut 'Tropic of Scorpio' that year, surprising underground ears and critics alike:

"Low-key, magnificent and messy" THE NZ LISTENER

"Distortion-heavy guitar strangling suggests a primitive home-grown hybrid between Sonic Youth art-fuzz, Dinosaur Jnr stoner rock and good old-fashioned punk and grunge" SUNDAY STAR TIMES

'Third Eye' is the first single off their follow-up album 'Underwater Pyramids' set for release through Flying Nun Records next year.
