Elton John Will Perform NZ's Biggest Concert For 2011
Elton John Will Perform New Zealand’s Biggest Concert in 2011!
With ticket sales having reached 34,000, the Elton John's performance at Dunedin's new Forsyth Barr Stadium will be the country's biggest concert this year.
Promoters, Capital C: Concerts stated that considering this is Elton's 4th NZ visit in five years, he still attracts huge numbers and this upcoming concert is no exception. He is truly in a class of his own.
Recently he celebrated his 3000th public concert and delivers a non-stop performance of 2-3 hours each time he steps on stage, a feat artist a third of his age rarely do.
To celebrate the Elton's Dunedin show and the 'christening' of the new stadium the promoters have added considerable effects to the event and along with special additions to his band of the 2CELLOS and upcoming NZ talent opening the evening.
A scramble for the last 1000 seats remain is currently underway with a sell-out capacity of over 35,000 not far away.
