Rugby Commentators Form Super Group!

Rugby Commentators Form Super Group!

Grant Nisbett has hardly had time to draw breath after commentating on the final of the RWC, but he’s now ready to support Movember- along with a host of other TV commentators.

Like most New Zealand blokes, these guys have witnessed friends and family suffer from depression and various forms of cancer, and ‘Nisbo’ says an involvement with Movember is a great way to help.

“I like the fact Movember urges us all to take a bit more responsibility for our own health. Throughout the month, there are always little reminders to us about this”.

Like Nisbett, Scottie Stevenson and Ken Laban have often sprouted facial hair so growing moustaches will be easy for them. Tony Johnson and Keith Quinn are happy just to support. Ex All Blacks, now commentators, who are also involved include Matthew Cooper, Murray Mexted, Taine Randell, Jon Preston, Justin Marshall, Ian Jones and Jeff Wilson.

Movember ambassador John McBeth is hopeful a large number of rugby fans will either support the commentators on their page (mobro.co/rugbycommentators) or register themselves at www.movember.com.

Rugby players and fans the world over are joining up to Movember, with prominent Canadian loose forward, Adam Kleeberger- the man with the monstrous beard, already clean-shaven in readiness to grow again during the month of November.

Movember New Zealand
Tuesday November 1st – Wednesday November 30th.
