'Apache' music video selected amongst world's best for Onedotzero festival
A music video directed by Ned Wenlock of New Zealand based production company, HoverLion continues to rack up international attention with its official selection to Onedotzero festival in London.
Onedotzero's festival showcases the most progressive and innovative audio visual work from around the world. It is renowned for 'championing the work of then unknown visionaries like Spike Jonze, Chris Cunningham and Jonathan Glazer'.
'Apache' saw the creation of a new animation technique by the director, which is the continuous looping of the background to help tell the story of a journey.
'Apache' has been selected and played at Fantoche, the Melbourne international film festival, Promax BDA (where it was selected by Motionographer to play in a group "best of the year") Supertoon, Silhouette Short film festival and The Wassaic Project. It will also feature in IdN magazine's upcoming 'Best of the Year' issue.
Apache was directed by Ned Wenlock, a high profile 2D animator and director from Hoverlion. Character Animation is by Rodney Selby.
