Benny Tones Finalist in French Hangtime Awards

Wellington based producer / Sound Tech Benny Tones is a finalist nominee in French Radio Station, Radio Grenouille's, annual 'Hangtime Music Awards'.

nominee in the category of 'Best First Album' for his album
'Chrysalis' which was released internationally on BBE
Records earlier this year, Benny Tones has been nominated by
French locals & online listeners alongside fellow finalists,
James Blake, Sbtrkt, Miles Bonny and Mr President.
The Hangtime Awards are an annual music
contest run by Marseille based radio station, Radio
Grenouille. Each year listeners and fans vote for their
favourite artists in 4 categories – Best Album, Single,
First Album and Compilation. The awards are sponsored by
Carhartt and Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Festival and
recipients are invited to attend the award celebration held
in Marseille in February. Last year's receipients were
Beatspoke, Lizzy Parks, Alice Russell, Sly Johnson and Yarah
Bravo.
