World children to celebrate kiwi Christmas
World children to celebrate kiwi Christmas
Children from all over the world will be able to take part in a Kiwi Christmas at Whangarei’s Migrant Centre on Monday 19 December.
The Migrant Centre (in association with Settlement Support, a joint Labour Department and Council initiative that supports newcomers to New Zealand) holds the party every year.
Anyone who would like to take part in the event that includes entertainment and a visit from Santa, is invited to register their child or children for the party.
Families should bring a $5 gift, wrapped (labelled for ‘boy’ or ‘girl’, with no name label) to be given away by Santa. If you would like to attend or to find out more about the event, feel welcome to email whangareimc@gmail.com
