Final Week Ticket Outlets

The Big Day Out is catering for final week ticket buyers this year by adding more street outlets in central Auckland and the festival site, Mt Smart Stadium.

Atomic in Kingsland and Southbound Records in Mt Eden are two handy new outlets, along with our old favourite, the Rock caravan, which will be positioned at the 3 Lamps end of Ponsonby Road.

“Over the last few years we’ve made a tradition of unique outlets to meet demand and help people get tickets in locations outside the CBD and our regular outlets,” explained Auckland promoter Campbell Smith.

“The last week is when the Big Day Out vibe really hits Auckland. Bands and fans from out of town are arriving in the city and we really start to feel the buzz of the show.

“And as usual, I'll be popping by the outlets randomly during the week to throw a few free tickets to some lucky punters".

A ticket booth will also be open at Gate C, Beasley Ave, Mt Smart Stadium on Thursday and Friday.

Ticketmaster online buyers can also collect their tickets from the Rock caravan or the Beasley Ave ticket booth during opening hours.

Ticket sales at the pop up outlets end Thursday. Regular outlets including Ticketmaster, Eventfinder, Mt Smart stadium and Real Groovy continue till Friday. On the day of the Big Day Out, go to Real Groovy or head straight to the venue to buy tickets.
