M1Motorsport Retains Third in 2012 NZSBK
Championship
The five round NZSBK Castrol
Championship drew to a close yesterday, at Taupo Motorsport
park.
For M1Motorsport, it was a series of highs and lows with a couple of DNF’s thrown into the mix which re-enforced exactly how circumstances can change over the course of a five round championship.
For all competitors, a test of endurance and stamina.
“It was without a doubt disappointing that we DNF’ed, but that’s racing.”
Sloan added, “I’m absolutely
stoked that we’ve retained our third place in New Zealand
Superbikes.
We gave it everything we had. We were
challenged and learnt a lot, which we’ll retain and bring
to next year’s 2013 NZSBK campaign.”
Team M1Motorsport congratulate all competitors and further team Triple R’s Robbie Bugden, 2012 New Zealand champion and team Stroud’s nine times New Zealand Superbike champion; Andrew Stroud, for securing second place.
We take the time to thank the Series organisers and clubs for a fantastic championship, media and photographers for great coverage of the championship and to CTAS live timing for bringing the series action into race fans homes.
We thank our Sponsors who make M1Motorsport possible, without their generosity and input, we couldn’t get this far.
Further thanks to our friends, families and supporters, your unwavering support make the New Zealand Superbike series and in-fact the whole season, worthwhile.
