NZ Author Nominated for Massive American Award

The influential Romance Writers of America has just announced the finalists for the 2012 RITA awards and New Zealand author Nalini Singh has been nominated not once, but three times.

These prestigious awards are best described as the Oscars of the romance writing world. More than 1,200 novels and novellas were judged in 12 categories.

"I'm absolutely thrilled to have been nominated for the RITA Awards, and am looking forward to attending the awards ceremony in Anaheim later this year,” says Nalini.

Nalini has two books in the Paranormal Romance category, including Archangel’s Blade which is part of her incredibly successful ‘Guild Hunter’ series. She also has work represented in the Romance Novella category.

This accolade builds on Nalini’s incredible success of the last year, which saw all of her books charting on the New York Times bestseller list, an amazing achievement for any author, let alone one based in suburban Auckland.

Winners will be announced July 28, 2012 at a lavish awards ceremony, which takes place as part of the 2012 Romance Writers of America Annual Conference.
