Silverwood to referee VB Test

England’s Richard Silverwood has been appointed as referee for the VB Test between New Zealand and Australia at Auckland’s Eden Park on April 20.
Silverwood, who officiates in the English Super League, has refereed the past three VB Tests.
The touch judges will be New Zealand’s Aaron Kesha and Australia’s Jeff Younis.
The video referee will be New Zealand’s David Pakieto with Russell Smith his assistant.
New Zealand’s Henry Perenara will be the standby referee.
Jamal Thompson will referee the curtain-raiser between Otahuhu College and St Paul’s College with Anthony Eliott and Steve Kilgallon the touch judges.
The standby referee is Kena Waikai.
