Clash of the Delusions play reading
Michelle
Blundell, recently seen as the psychotic Hayley in Shortland
Street, plays a more kindhearted character in an upcoming
reading of Clash of the Delusions, a farce by Rex McGregor.
A bit too kindhearted. As an overzealous student
impersonating a teacher at a low-decile school, she comes up
against Lavinia 'Uhila (In the Next Room, or the Vibrator
Play) and three Massive Company actors from The Brave:
Dominic Ona-Ariki, Andy Sani and Neil Amituanai. The
reading, directed by Grae Burton, also features Ally Xue
(The Bone Feeder) and Ash Jones (The Importance of Being
Earnest). Read Raw play readings are organised by the
Auckland Playwrights Collective in association with STAMP at
THE EDGE.
Clash of the Delusions, Sunday 1 July, 7pm, Goodman Fielder Room, Aotea Centre. Free entry. Bookings are not required.
