'Lynley Dodd: A Retrospective' opens at the Dowse
Hairy Maclary comes home to Lower Hutt. 'Lynley Dodd: A Retrospective' opens this Saturday at The Dowse
Hairy Maclary, that famous little black dog, was born in Lower Hutt. In 1979, while living here, Dame Lynley Dodd made a small sketch of a rather unkempt-looking dog and penned a few words underneath.
Hairy Maclary comes home this weekend in an exhibition of his creator’s work, Lynley Dodd: A Retrospective, opening at The Dowse on Saturday.
Penny Jackson, from Tauranga Art Gallery is at The Dowse this week to install her exhibition and is available for media interviews.
