MORE FM Waikato to Create Magic Radio

MORE FM Waikato to Create Magic Radio

18 July 2012

92.2 MORE FM Waikato is a proud sponsor of the Waikato Bay of Plenty First Windows Magic, and is excited to today confirm that we will be sending our local 10am-1pm announcer Lana Searle to Melbourne to cover the game.

Lana will be flying to Melbourne on Thursday thanks to Grabaseat, and will be broadcasting her Friday show direct from the streets, talking to hardcore supporters from both sides of the fences in an attempt to keep the Waikato as up-to-date as possible with the Magic’s movements.

The coverage doesn’t stop on Friday, with live crosses on Saturday morning, and a special show broadcasting from 10am-2pm on Sunday afternoon leading up to the big game.

Along the way, Lana will have access to First Windows Magic players, and will be regularly updating a blog online at MOREFM.co.nz. Exclusive video content will also be posted on the MORE FM Waikato Facebook page.

Lana says she can’t wait to get across the ditch: “I’m super excited to be heading to Melbourne to cheer on the First Windows Magic thanks to Grabaseat. The girls have played so well this season, and it’ll be great to be able to keep the Waikato up-to-date with the team in the lead-up to the game.”
