ReStyle’s annual wearable arts show is holding their first ever launch event to showcase a small snippet of what ReStyle will entail in September.
The event will be held at Easy Tiger, a local cocktail bar, on the 17th of August starting at 7.30pm with tickets costing a small amount of $10. The ticket not only includes a great night out, with prizes from SkyCity and Antipodes but also each attendee will receive $5 off ReStyle.
“The launch event is designed to encourage Hamiltonians to get into the fun and exciting atmosphere of what ReStyle is truly about, the show only gets better every year and with a launch event this year ReStyle will reach a new calibre” says event co-manager Siobahn Brown
“We have incorporated the concept of recycling, reusing and reducing into a fun night out, therefore its supporting a fantastic and local cause” says event co-manager Kali Pentecost
ReStyle has been running for its twelfth consecutive year what originally grew from a small performance in the city centre now is held with over 600 attendees and a growing audience at the Founders Theatre. ReStyle is officially one of the hottest and most sought out cultural events within the Waikato, this year’s is only going to be better, with Ruby and other local designers getting involved in the local creativity.
