Canterbury Plantout Event This September

Following on from the successful 2011 event, Te Ara Kakariki is offering two Saturday Plantout events in 2012.

The 8th September focussing on the Lower Selwyn around Te Waihora/Ellesmere and the 22nd September we are heading towards the Canterbury foothills. Each Plantout event will involve a variety of sites to plant 6500 plants in total.

Meals, activities, entertainment, planting equipment and transport will be provided for volunteers. A free bus service will be available from key locations throughout Canterbury. Volunteers must register to secure their place on the Bus. We just need their energy and enthusiasm.
