Pirates to invade Wellington Waterfront

Wgtn LUX Light Festival kicks off with a bang tomorrow when street art collective, The Pirates paint murals on Storybox’s After Light installation in Odlin Plaza from 1pm.
See the container walls come to life during the day, and light up at night when the installation is powered up at 6pm.
Other installations include Acute Self by Interrupt Collective at Michael Fowler Centre, Enigmatica by Kit Webster on Lagoon Lawn and Wave Light by Squid Soup outside Te Papa. Wave Light and Acute Self are both interactive.
The festival runs from Saturday 1 September to Sunday 9 September 6pm -11pm nightly and is sponsored by Massey University, Wellington City Council and Storybox.
