From the Royal Albert Hall in London to New Zealand cinemas comes one of the most famous music events in the world, The BBC Last Night of the Proms.
The BBC Last Night of the Proms will screen for a limited season in select cinemas around New Zealand from 4 October – 25 October.
Listened to and watched by millions around the globe, the powerful finale of this year’s BBC Proms season will include two very special guests - Nicola Benedetti and Joseph Calleja.

Since taking the UK by storm as 2004’s BBC Young Musician of the Year, Scottish-born Benedetti has enhanced her reputation as one of Britain’s most innovative and creative young violinists, while Maltese tenor Calleja, has earned a reputation for singing with the grace and elegance of the voices of a bygone era.

A brace of Czechs acknowledges the sterling work of the BBC Symphony Orchesta’s outgoing chief Jiří Bělohlávek, while contributions from 2012’s anniversary composers include Delius’s valedictory settings of Walt Whitman.
More familiar UK home-grown music from Henry Wood brings down the curtain in time-honoured fashion. Join us for the year's biggest musical party!
