Fighting Poverty Made Fun in Aotea Square

On Thursday 20th September, Aotea Square will be turned into a giant string Maze. There will also be a 40 foot film container playing TEAR Fund films, limbo competitions, games, prizes, a $2.25 picnic breakfast and various celebrity appearances.

The event is a part of the Live Below the Line Campaign which encourages people to live on $2.25 a day for five days in September in order to get a glimpse into the lives of 1.4 billion people living in extreme poverty.
