Razzle Dazzle -- National Tour Presented by Operatunity

MEDIA RELEASE – Daytime Concert Series –
Razzle Dazzle -- National Tour Presented by Operatunity.

Glitz, glamour, energy and movement are on the menu this month, with the award-winning Daytime Concert Series’ latest offering “Razzle Dazzle” a showcase of songs that will take you on a journey of the modern musicals.

Some of the classics to be performed include Singin’ in the Rain; I have a dream; There’s Nothing Like a Dame, Master of the House from Les Miserables, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy by the Andrew Sisters and so many more.

Razzle Dazzle features some of the best loved tunes of all time presented by John Cameron with Alex Wiltshire on piano and guest artists: Tizane McEvoy, Bonaventure Allan-Moetaua, Tamsyn Miller and Scot Hall.

Alex Wiltshire, our pianist for this tour, brings a wide range of talent and unique experience to this fantastic team of performers. Alex was one of the first women in New Zealand to work as a professional conductor, having studied with the late Juan Matteucci. She spent 16 years overseas where she worked for several major theatrical companies including Cameron Mackintosh Productions, The Really Useful Company (Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Production Company) and the Victorian State Opera Company.

Since her return to NZ she has worked in various capacities including conductor, vocal coach, keyboardist and repetiteur and appears with The Daytime Concert Series on a regular basis. We are constantly overwhelmed with praise and accolades on Alex’s incredible playing and singing!
