Comedy Monthly: November 29 at The Office Cafe and Bar
MEDIA RELEASE: For Immediate release
The Office Bar
and Cafe presents
Comedy Monthly: November 29 at The Office Cafe and Bar.
After another successful show last month, Comedy Monthly returns to The Office Cafe and Bar on November 29.
November’s show includes Canadian Rob Harris, who is cutting his chops in the Wellington scene. Having performed regularly at Raw Meat Monday, The Medicine and Cool Comedy, Rob has had a rapid rise since his first New Zealand gig back in June.
“Rob has been one of the finds of the year. Every time I have seen him he has something new to his set and he keeps getting better and better”, says producer Ben Caldwell.
The line up also features up and comers Alexander Sparrow and Wyeth Chalmers, and experienced hands Kent Lambert and Nathan Winter. Jerome Chandrahasen returns as the evening’s host.
With the first two shows being well received by audiences, Ben is excited about how things are running.
“We’ve had good audiences for both shows so far. Not just in terms of numbers but also how receptive and encouraging they’ve been. It’s turning into a really good comedy venue.”
The show is approximately two hours long and students who bring their ID will also receive a free pint of beer. Thursday nights also feature The Office’s $15 super jug deal on their Monteith’s range.
