Music & People - Joseph & Maia, Pikachunes
Music & People
It may be the end of Easter but we
have one more very special treat for you. On Thursday the
4th of April 1885 Britomart will play host to the
christening of the Departure Club’s latest baby – Music
& People.
Following on from where last years Food & People left off, each week a different band will take to the couch and share insights into their work and lives before performing a stripped back acoustic set.
The month of April is shaping up pretty tidily with country-infused newcomers Joseph and Maia leading the charge this Thursday.

As R Kelly so famously said after the show, it's an after party so stick around for electronic maestro Pikachunes. It’s been a while since he’s played regularly in Auckland and with a swag full of new material it will be a challenge not to dance to his melodic, no frills disco.

The month of April continues with Farah Loux on the 11th, She’s So Rad on the 18th and the Glass Owls on Anzac Day.
We're looking forward to it quite a bit. Thanks to Jagermeister and Perrier, you guys are tops.
