The Hastings PAK’nSAVE Edible Fashion Awards for 2013 are in full swing – with entries coming in, the Awards are shaping up to be the largest and best ever! In their 9th year, these iconic awards encapsulate the Hastings District with the abundance of local produce Hastings is renowned for, showcasing edible food and packaging creatively designed into wearable fashion pieces! Clearly these Awards are a huge hit throughout the region and interest from outside of the region continues to grow!

The Awards are open to all age groups from 5 years to Adult. With prize money totalling over $8000 competition is strong. The Designer of the Year Award will receive $1200 cash as well as a return trip for two plus 2 nights accommodation to Melbourne courtesy of Best Travel! We also have a new award this year – the EftPos Specialists

(HB) Ltd Peoples Choice Award – voted out of the 36 finalists at the Evening Extravaganza a prize worth $500.00!

The categories are:

Heinz Watties - Junior Category

Adam and Eva’s Foodstore and Cafe - Intermediate Category

M>Phosis Hair Studio - Senior Category

Cake Stuff - Adult Category

Bay Espresso - Best use of HB Grown or Manufactured Food or Packaging

The Kiwiana theme will be well reflected by the 36 finalists coming through to the Evening Extravaganza.
