Come Celebrate the Middle Ages with Kerre McIvor and Paper Plus

Paper Plus is inviting book lovers young and old to the launch of Kerre McIvor (nee Woodham’s) latest book, Musings from Middle Age, this Sunday 7 April at Villa Maria Estate, Auckland.

Guests will be able to enjoy a candid afternoon with the vivacious author herself, as she shares her personal account of the trials and tribulations from the brink of middle age with MC and radio personality, Lorna Plant.

Musings from Middle Age is Kerre’s third book and tells the frank story of her experience becoming a woman of a ‘certain age’, from learning to live as an empty nester to becoming ‘un-chat-up-able’ to the opposite sex.

The launch event will embody Kerre’s witty and humorous approach to growing older and include a demonstration from a professional hairdresser and make-up artist who will share their expert secrets on looking your best at any age.

One lucky guest will even walk away from the event with a Great Midlife Makeover package, including a $1,000 clothing voucher and personal styling session from Verge, cut and colour from Louise Pilkington at Dry and Tea salon, and a make-over and hamper of products from make-up artist Lisa Matson at L’Oreal.

Guests can purchase Musings from Middle Age at the launch and have the book signed by Kerre following the event.

Tickets to the launch event are available from paperplus.co.nz/events for $35 per person and include a glass of bubbles on arrival, canapés and entry into a draw to win great prizes.

Musings from Middle Age is now selling exclusively in hard copy at Paper Plus until 18 April. Paper Plus is the only retailer offering Fly Buys points with every purchase of the book.
