Antix + Tim Richards Release New Track & Video, ‘Another Day’

Electronic music producers Antix and Tim Richards have collaborated on a brand-new, addictive dance track, available this week on iTunes and accompanied by a stunning new video.

The Original Mix begins with a tight, floor-friendly house groove with a unique and charming vocal providing enticing hooks, which has already made a huge impression on the radio ahead of its release.

Another Day was voted into George FM’s ‘Top 5’ tracks for three consecutive weeks in March, with one week spent at #1. Now the tune is finally available for download internationally, having been signed by established US label Perspectives Digital. The accompanying video, by award-winning video director James Barr, will be released alongside it.

James Barr, from production company Parlour, has created a music video for Another Day that is truly unique. The filming involved an impressive yet simple special-effect, in which images were projected onto buildings from a moving vehicle. Despite appearances, none of the effects are computer generated.

Tim Richards has been one of this country’s most respected and prolific DJs and producers, having released singles that have featured in dance music charts and are played in clubs around the world.

Antix, Auckland brothers Hayden and Barton Strom, are producing partners (also producing and performing under the name Fiord) whose achievements to date encompass four albums, an international touring career and an array of heavyweight productions.

A previous Antix/Tim Richards collaboration, Chatterbox, held the #1 spot on the George FM playlist in mid-2012, as well as receiving a great reception in clubs. Its success led them to continue their musical partnership, and now the sound just keeps getting better.
