Not just a live competition but also an event that will go down in history as the “night of nights” and the start of things to come. From the moment you arrive you will be welcomed by the amazing Highly Flammable Crew and their flaming skills.
Your host for the evening will be the Guinness World Record holding Shay Horay. Footnote Dance choreographed by Maria Dabrowska will delight you with their talented team of "dance clowns" making the show run smoothly.
We are proud to have “Nikita the Spooky and a Circus of Men” performing as our house band. The finalists will be here from all over the country competing for the title of being New Zealand’s best in Contemporary Circus. Judges are: NZ Circus Legend Deb Pope, WOW's Artistic Director Malia Johnston, Ex Russian National Circus Performer & Circo Arts Trainer Stanislav Shchukin & Circus OZ Artistic Director Mike Finch. All taking place in the opulent surrounds of the Wellington Opera House.
