The People’s Republic of China is one of the largest countries in the world and New Zealand is one of the smallest. It is delightful that we can talk to each other. And we do – to the benefit of both. Part of that exchange is through diplomatic organisations and it was an honour to be In Conversation with the new Chinese Consul General in Auckland, Mr Niu Qingbao.

"In Conversation with Noel Cheer", Face Television, Monday April 22nd at 7:00pm, repeated on Tuesday April 23rd at 12 noon.

Face Television, the home of public broadcasting, is found on Sky Television Channel 89 (Channel 83 after May 1) and can also be received in the Auckland region on UHF Channels 41, 42 and 52. "In Conversation with Noel Cheer" receives funding from New Zealand on Air. This has enabled us to introduce viewers to over 250 New Zealanders on Air (as well as visitors to New Zealand) during more than six years of unbroken weekly public-interest broadcasting.
