Sony Music Proudly Presents...

Homemade - An Exclusive New Music Showcase - Thursday 23rd May - at Galatos

FEATURING..

SONS OF ZION
SOLJAH
AND SPECIAL GUEST STAN WALKER

Sony Music New Zealand is proud to announce the exclusive showcase event Homemade on Thursday May 23rd at Galatos in Auckland - introducing local up and comers SONS OF ZION and SOLJAH with very special guest STAN WALKER

The night promises to start with a bang as 5-piece Soljah fuse elements of blues, funk, R&B, reggae and rock to create an incredible live performance. The Auckland and Kaipara based getup will be performing a selection of tracks from their forthcoming album AOTEAROA due to be released on May 10. Check out the title track here.

Continuing the groove is 6-piece SONS OF ZION, who have built a massive following in New Zealand since their debut gig in 2007 . With their roaring live shows and hit singles, GOOD LOVE and TELL HER they can’t be missed.

This combo can only get better when chart topper Stan Walker is thrown into the musical mix.  After selling more than 80,000 albums in New Zealand, Stan Walker returns to the stage for a lucky group of fans and media.

Hits such as BLACK BOX, UNBROKEN, CHOOSE YOU and LOUD have secured several gold and multi platinum singles and earned Walker five NZ Music Awards.  Multi Platinum sales of his three studio albums have secured Stan a firm place in the NZ music community.

While Stan’s most recent role is that of judge on the first season of X Factor New Zealand, Stan made headlines earlier this year with his acting debut in the feature film Mt Zion. The film debuted at #1 at the NZ Box Office and produced a chart-topping soundtrack with the platinum selling single TAKE IT EASY.

Tickets are available exclusively through Sony Music and will be offered to all media partners, to attend and giveaway.

Doors open at 6:30pm, all ages welcome
