NEW SINGLE ‘YAMS’- BROCKAFLOWERSAURUS-REX & THE BLUEBERRY BISCUITS

Brockaflowersaurus-Rex & The Blueberry Biscuits, or known by their fans as Brockaflower, release their second single ‘Yams’ from their forthcoming full-length studio album due out later this year.

‘Yams’ features the lyrical conscious rhymes of members Lorenzo Pradel and Estère Dalton, and the soulful vocals of Zoe Moon Mahal and Louis Baker on the hook.
‘Yams’ is about the toils and troubles of growing up in today’s world of sensationalist media and the societies that buy into it” says bassist Pat Stewart.
The Wellington based band is a monster nine piece contemporary Neo-Soul, Experimental, Hip-Hop collective that traverse through soundscapes, hard hitting hip-hop grooves and soulful vocals. They regularly sell out shows in their hometown and sold out their only two shows in Auckland in 2012.
Brockaflower like any excuse for a party and releasing ‘YAMS’ is the perfect excuse to throw one down on Saturday 11th May at Bodega, Wellington. This will also be a farewell party for band member Louis Baker who is off to represent New Zealand at the Red Bull Music Academy in New York this May.
