Rhythm Group has the 2013 festival calendar covered

Rhythm and Vines and Rhythm and Alps have the 2013 festival calendar covered from North to South

The Rhythm Group are delighted to announce that they will keep the summer humming with the return of Rhythm and Vines, and its South Island counterpart Rhythm and Alps, to the festival calendar in 2013.

The internationally acclaimed three day music festival, Rhythm and Vines, showcases the world’s best musicians in one of the most beautiful locations to welcome in the new year, the Waiohika Estate Vineyard in Gisborne, New Zealand.

The festival has become a rite of passage for more than 30,000 local and international fans who travel to experience the first sunrise of the year at New Zealand’s biggest music festival.

The line-up will be announced in August and is sure to get music fans excited.

“Every year the line-up gets bigger and better. We have a stellar line up and are adding new acts every day. There will be something to please everyone,” says Hamish Pinkham, founder of Rhythm and Vines festival.

Rhythm and Vines takes place on December 29, 30, 31.

Rhythm and Alps is the only two-day music festival in the South Island and will be back with an even bigger and better line-up this year.

This year the festival is being moved to December 30 to 31 to ensure those attending the festival are able to see in the New Year in the same style as Rhythm and Vines.

“Last year was such a success and we figured South Islander’s deserved a party as big as the North Island!” says Festival Director Alex Turnbull. “Due to popular demand we are moving the festival to these new dates.”

Further information about ticket sales will be confirmed in July. In the meantime people can be the first to hear new developments by signing up to the Rhythm and Alps mailing list at www.rhythmandalps.co.nz

Both Rhythm and Vines and Rhythm and Alps are R18+ events.
