2013 Beervana ticket sales open tomorrow

For Immediate Release: Wednesday 29 May 2013

Visa pre-sales open at 9am tomorrow for the 12th annual Beervana, being held on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th August 2013, at Westpac Stadium in Wellington.

New Zealand’s premier craft beer celebration, there will be over 200 craft beers on offer, the opportunity to meet many of New Zealand’s best brewers in person and a home brewing competition.

Festival Director David Cryer says that we are privileged to be showcasing some of the country’s finest craft beer brewers at Beervana. “Consumer interest in craft beer continues to grow strongly. Beervana caters to that growing interest by providing opportunities meet brewers and to taste craft beers from around the country, including some of the one-off Festive Brews created especially for the beer awards being held just a few days before Beervana.”

Through the guidance of Beervana’s Culinary Director Martin Bosley, attendees will also be able to enjoy food created by some of the capital’s best chefs and pair that with recommended craft beer matches.

For those who would like to discover more, there will be entertaining and informative seminars on offer, including sessions on how to brew your own beer.
