It's In The Bag: Grand Final Shows

Grand Final Shows of July 7th Sunday 7.30pm & July 14th On Maori Television

It’s in the Bag traveled 12 contestants from small towns around New Zealand to Auckland compete for the Grand Final of season 5. Two of them had never been to Auckland before. Here is some of the feedback from those contestants;

“The first show in Pahiatua was totally awesome - the crew were so entertaining and with Pio and Stacey, they made the experience so personal and totally enjoyable. The assistance given to Warren and I to come to the final in Auckland was outstanding. We were humbled by your generosity and the manaakitanga we received from whanau of Te Unga Waka Marae.

My husband and I are still smiling from ear to ear, with the experience of being in Auckland, and the filming, which also gave us the opportunity to spend time with our cousin and his beautiful wife who also thoroughly enjoyed the final. They have taken part in filming other programmes like "The Footy Show" with their friend The Mad Butcher, and said that they had more fun with your filming, maybe because they knew the show, and I was representing Pahiatua and Eketahuna.

Our whanau (Children, brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles and friends), are looking forward to the Pahiatua show, the final and of course the delivery of the $10,000 prize package.....it's so astounding and again thank you for the opportunity.

thanks heaps”

“For the very first time going to It's in the Bag live i thoroughly enjoyed it. My partner and I and our 2 sons aged 6 and 2 years old. When we walked in the set up was amazing. The crew behind the scenes were very well organised, knew their job, gave the audience a mystery of what to expect before, during and after shooting the episode. And most of all i don't think you could of chosen better presenters Pio and Stacey.They work well together and are totally funny .We couldn't stop laughing through the shooting of both episodes and would love to go to another.

The atmosphere was fantastic and even the contestants were a crack up.

To top the night off i even won a plasma tv that i still can't believe i won.

So thank you very much for the lovely and awesome experience and I hope to be at another episode soon. Just to be in the audience...

Kia ora from my whanau and I”

“I had such a great weekend! Everyone at the marae and all the crew were so friendly and hospitable. Such a fun and funny experience! Someone mentioned that when you're all on tour you feel like a family and miss each other when the filming stops - I felt like part of the family after only two days with you all! All the crew put in so much effort, and it shows throughout the series (and the ongoing of the show - five series', and hopefully more!) Can't wait to see the rest of the episodes and the final! All the best to you and the rest of the crew :)

Thank you!”
