Both Worlds Series Two to Air This Saturday July 13th on TV3

This Saturday on TV3 catch a glimpse inside what it’s like for aspiring fashion designers in New Zealand through a touching personal story about inter-generational and cross-cultural conflict in Both Worlds.

A second series of Notable Pictures’ documentary series Both Worlds is kicking off this Saturday July 13th at 10.25am on TV3. Both Worlds tells fascinating, funny and poignant stories of second generation New Zealanders and how they balance two cultural worlds.

Episode one features an up and coming fashion designer, Lucie Sutichunta. Lucie was born in Thailand and moved to Timaru with her family when she was 16. The episode follows Lucie as she prepares for her first solo show being held at Botswana Butchery in Auckland and being attended by some of New Zealand’s top fashion writers and buyers. Adding to the stress of this once in a lifetime opportunity, Lucie finds herself in personal turmoil as well when her parents move up to Auckland from Timaru and do not approve of her boyfriend and the very ‘kiwi’ life she is now living.

Don’t miss this stylish premiere of Both Worlds Series Two this Saturday 10.25am on TV3.
